These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Gemipi website and the cruise consultancy services we provide. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Gemipi is a specialist cruise consultancy. We act as an agent for cruise lines, ship operators, and related travel suppliers. We are not the owner or operator of any cruise ship.
2. Website use
- Content on this website is for general information only. It does not constitute a binding offer.
- Prices, availability, itineraries, and ship details are subject to change and must be confirmed at the time of booking.
- Images are representative and may not depict the exact ship, cabin, or date you book.
- You may not copy, scrape, or commercially exploit website content without our written permission.
3. Our role as agent
When you book through us:
- Your contract for the cruise itself is with the cruise line or operator, under their booking conditions.
- We arrange the booking on your behalf and provide advice and support.
- We may also arrange hotels, transfers, flights, or other services as separate components; each may have its own supplier terms.
4. Quotes and bookings
- Quotes are valid for the period stated and are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
- A booking is confirmed only when the cruise line accepts it and any required deposit is paid.
- You are responsible for providing accurate passenger details (including names as on passports) and for meeting passport, visa, and health requirements.
5. Pricing
- Guide prices on this website are indicative and shown in USD unless otherwise stated.
- Final pricing depends on ship, cabin, dates, currency fluctuations, taxes, and any promotions.
- Additional costs (e.g. flights, insurance, gratuities, visas, excursions) may apply and will be identified where possible before booking.
6. Cancellations and changes
Cancellation and amendment rules are set by the cruise line and the fare type you choose. These are explained before you confirm. See also our Cancellations & Refunds page.
7. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical treatment, and cruise-specific risks. Insurance is your responsibility unless we arrange a policy at your request.
8. Limitation of liability
- We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or insolvency of cruise lines or other suppliers, except to the extent required by applicable law.
- Our liability for any claim arising from our own consultancy services is limited to the fees (if any) you paid us directly for those services, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraud.
- We are not responsible for weather, itinerary changes by the operator, or force majeure events.
9. Intellectual property
All branding, text, design, and media on this website are owned by Gemipi or our licensors. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence provide otherwise. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer.
